Maria-Cristina Di Vito
Founder
Hello, my name is Maria and I am one of the Founders of Club Coco Nut. I have an undergraduate degree in Communications, a Master’s Degree in Public Management and a love for life-long learning. I became a mum in 2012 and, since then, I have been involved with a number of child-centred, non-profit organisations including New Mothers’ Support Group (NMSG), where I met my Co-Founder. I am a firm believer that children need to be trusted to make their own mistakes and guided to become their best selves. My mission for Club Coco Nut is to provide a space that is enjoyable for the entire family, where people feel welcome and happy.

Founder
Hello, my name is Khalisah Ward and I am one of the Founders of Club Coco Nut. I have a degree in Communications and I taught in a local primary school specializing in Math and Art from 2007-2014. When my first child was born, I decided to focus my full attention on bringing up my daughter. A few months before my little one had her first birthday, I decided to volunteer my time with the New Mothers Support Group (NMSG) with which I have been involved for the past 4 years. I believe strongly in supporting mums and giving them a well earned break from time to time. My mission for Club Coco Nut is to provide opportunities for meaningful enrichment and family time in a fun environment.
Sasha Si-Wei Suppiah
Enrichment Teacher and Curriculum Developer
Hi my name is Teacher Sasha and I am an Enrichment Teacher at Club Coco Nut. Working with children has been an integral part of my life as I have trained with a BA in Early Childhood Education from James Cook University. I believe that there is no limit to how much a child can learn, we just need to create an space that allows them to flourish in their own unique way.
